Responsibilities
- Analyze the existing pytest-based test automation ecosystem.
- Explore pytest libraries and research AI-assisted software and test development approaches.
- Develop a proof of concept for retrieving knowledge from tests, documentation, and engineering assets.
- Design and prototype integrations for AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Build and validate an AI-assisted workflow for generating pytest test cases.
- Evaluate solution effectiveness using quality, maintainability, and productivity metrics.
- Document results and recommend improvements for AI-supported test automation.
Requirements
- Be a third- to fifth-year student in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Have strong programming skills in Python.
- Have familiarity with software development practices and Git version control.
- Have a basic understanding of software testing principles and test automation concepts.
- Be able to work independently on research-oriented tasks with a solution-focused mindset.
- Have good written and spoken English communication skills.
