Responsibilities

Design and develop platform-independent functionality for clients and services using C++.
Optimize and enhance software with efficient algorithms and technologies.
Own features end to end from technical concept through implementation and rollout.
Improve codebase reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Use coding agents and LLM-based assistants with attention to quality and security.
Automate recurring work with agentic workflows and share effective practices with C++ engineers.
Mentor engineers and contribute through design and code reviews.
Advise product owners on feasibility, effort estimates, and technical direction.

University or college degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related subject.
At least 7 years of professional experience in object-oriented software development using C++ and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as coding agents or LLM-based assistants.
Knowledge of CMake and Git; Conan experience is a plus.
Experience with parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, SQL, or network communication is desirable.
Ability to work independently and proactively, think structurally and analytically, collaborate as a team player, and learn new technologies.
Fluency in English is mandatory; German or other additional languages are a plus.
