Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems supporting AWS infrastructure fulfillment planning and execution.
- Architect systems that detect and explain deviations between build plans and execution outcomes.
- Write modular, testable, high-quality software and uphold engineering standards.
- Develop scalable solutions using native AWS services to solve complex architecture and business problems.
- Mentor engineers on design, coding, operational excellence, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with demand planning, supply chain operations, and engineering partners in a global environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or an equivalent field.
