Base Salary
$92k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, debug, and maintain front-end applications and full-stack features for mission-critical radar and defense systems.
- Develop user-facing application features with TypeScript, React, and related front-end technologies.
- Integrate interfaces with backend services, REST APIs, data sources, and system workflows.
- Collaborate with backend, systems, integration, and test engineers to translate complex requirements and user workflows into usable software.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, documentation, and production software delivery.
- Improve application usability, reliability, maintainability, and consistency while learning radar and mission-system domain concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field plus at least two years of relevant software engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Production user-interface development experience with TypeScript and a component-based framework such as React, React Native, or Angular.
- Experience designing, building, testing, debugging, and maintaining user-facing application features.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services, APIs, data sources, or system workflows.
- Experience with a backend or general-purpose language such as Node.js, Python, C#, or Java.
- Experience using Git in a collaborative software development environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one is required or may be required for future program work.
- Experience with dashboards, operator interfaces, engineering tools, data visualization, workflow-heavy applications, Linux, Docker, radar, sensor, defense, or mission-critical software environments is helpful but not required.
