Base Salary
$150k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engage deeply with exploration geologists and data scientists to tailor technology development.
- Build data pipelines and tools for deriving insights from exploration data.
- Lead a small group of software engineers to deliver projects successfully.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects from design to implementation.
- Respond to design and code feedback while providing feedback to teammates.
- Manage the team’s services and assist scientific colleagues with tooling.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in production cloud data systems.
- Proficiency in Python and ability to write production-quality code.
- Skilled in large-scale system design and project ownership.
- Intellectual curiosity about mineral exploration and geology.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with non-developers.
