Base Salary
$106k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications for space systems and technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable code following software development principles, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver software solutions independently and as part of a team.
- Use version control, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot software issues, and document software designs, configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Support application deployments, automated testing, performance profiling, and secure coding practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Typically 2+ years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of at least one programming language, software development principles, and the ability to design, code, test, and debug complex applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for employment.
- Preferred qualifications include Python, React, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, AWS, Docker, automated testing, scripting, databases, cloud-native development, and collaborative development tools.
- Preferred qualifications also include strong analytical, debugging, communication, teamwork, documentation, and problem-solving skills, plus an active Top Secret clearance.
