Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Automate security tools and develop security solutions for AWS Global Professional Services.
- Conduct application security reviews, threat modeling, troubleshooting, and security code reviews.
- Design secure architectures and provide security guidance across diverse tools and architectures.
- Enhance automation, identify automation opportunities, and build insights from existing data.
- Deliver security metrics, implement scalable audit processes, and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with Professional Services teams on security mechanisms, compliance standards, regulated-data policies, training, documentation, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and teams through security training and technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks with command-line tools.
- At least 5 years of experience identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
- At least 4 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages.
- Knowledge of at least two of Scala, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
- At least 5 years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- Preferred: experience applying threat modeling or other risk-identification techniques or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services.
- Preferred: experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
