Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, adoption roadmaps, and migration strategies.
- Develop multi-cloud and hybrid architecture patterns across Alibaba Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
- Design and implement Alibaba Cloud Landing Zones covering resource hierarchy, account management, networking, IAM, logging, monitoring, observability, and security baselines.
- Establish reusable infrastructure patterns using Infrastructure as Code.
- Partner with business and application teams to produce cloud-native solution designs and lead architecture reviews and technical workshops.
- Guide solution architects, engineers, and project teams and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Design cloud security controls and ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Cloud Operations and SRE teams on platform stability, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, monitoring, alerting, and performance management.
- Establish cloud cost governance and FinOps practices, including utilization optimization, reporting, and forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of progressive information technology experience, including at least five years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or senior technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience in cloud architecture, application modernization, systems integration, enterprise platforms, and large-scale technology transformation.
- Strong experience with architecture governance, technology standards, security and risk management, and scalable, resilient, secure technology design.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise and application architecture patterns, systems integration, and large-scale distributed platforms.
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture, cloud-native services, infrastructure design, platform engineering, and multi-cloud environments including AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
- Advanced understanding of software engineering practices, application development frameworks, application programming interfaces, microservices architecture, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of technology security, risk management, resilience, data protection, regulatory compliance, and secure-by-design principles.
- Practical experience with technology roadmaps, technical standards, architecture review processes, and stakeholder engagement in complex enterprises.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other relevant architecture and cloud certifications are considered an asset.
