Responsibilities
- Lead React and Next.js frontend architecture and end-to-end experience development with a focus on performance, UX, and scalability.
- Integrate with backend services and contribute to Golang APIs and backend architecture.
- Collaborate with product and design on experience and implementation decisions.
- Influence architecture, reliability, performance strategy, and engineering standards.
- Write high-quality, structured code and uphold quality through code reviews.
- Mentor teammates, remove blockers, and raise the technical bar.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience building production web applications.
- Expert-level React and Next.js frontend experience, including modern rendering and state-management patterns.
- Ability to design high-performance, scalable frontend systems.
- Solid backend competency, ideally with Golang, and strong API design fluency.
- Deep understanding of performance, caching, hydration, code splitting, bundling, deployment strategy, and developer- and user-experience tradeoffs.
- Strong product and architecture judgment.
- Preferred qualifications include AI, fintech, or data-intensive product experience; design systems or frontend platform experience; familiarity with edge rendering, observability tooling, or event-driven architecture; and experience with Postgres.
