Responsibilities
- Design and operate enterprise observability platforms using Splunk and OpenTelemetry across infrastructure tiers.
- Engineer and govern Terraform or Pulumi infrastructure-as-code platforms with policy enforcement, drift detection, and AWS/GCP coverage.
- Build CI/CD and GitOps infrastructure using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and operate the Backstage internal developer portal.
- Own ServiceNow workflow automation, CMDB reconciliation, incident integrations, and ITSM platform engineering.
- Develop LLM-powered runbook automation using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
- Build multi-agent ITSM workflows with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and CrewAI, including human-in-the-loop controls.
- Implement AI-powered alert correlation, noise reduction, and incident-context generation.
- Design RAG architectures backed by vector databases for infrastructure knowledge bases.
- Engineer HashiCorp Vault secret management, PKI automation, and Kubernetes authentication across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
- Mentor engineers, establish platform engineering standards, lead tooling roadmaps, and serve as the highest technical escalation point.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required, including at least 7.5 years in agentic orchestration.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Advanced experience with agentic orchestration, LLM tooling, RAG architectures, vector databases, and LLMOps.
- Experience with Splunk, OpenTelemetry, ELK/Splunk pipelines, distributed tracing, Terraform or Pulumi, Ansible or Chef, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with ServiceNow, CMDB integration, PagerDuty or Opsgenie, Backstage, HashiCorp Vault, PKI automation, and Kubernetes authentication.
- Advanced Python experience for platform tooling, infrastructure automation, API development, and LLM SDK integration.
- Mandatory certifications include Terraform Associate or Professional, Splunk Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or GCP DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and HashiCorp Vault Associate.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, SOX, DORA, access controls, audit logging, policy-as-code, and regulatory evidence production.
- Preferred experience includes Crossplane, eBPF-based observability, Cilium, Pixie, Hubble, GPU node management, Triton, vLLM, MLflow, or platform/SRE consulting in financial services.
