- Translate business and system requirements into technical architecture.
- Define end-to-end embedded software architecture across drivers, middleware, and application layers.
- Design scalable solutions across MCU/SoC platforms, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
- Define communication interfaces and integration strategies across subsystems.
- Architect systems for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Design and support integration of RF and Wi-Fi connectivity modules into embedded systems.
- Assess AI/ML, GenAI, and data-platform technologies for embedded platform engineering and automation.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and design reviews.
- Drive innovation initiatives and proof-of-concepts.
- Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and connectivity solutions.
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
- Mentor development teams on architecture, best practices, and technical direction.
- Support debugging of complex system-level issues and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development and proven embedded software architecture and system-design experience.
- Experience with modular architectures and reusable frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS, drivers, BSP, and low-level system development.
- Ability to analyze tradeoffs among performance, memory, power, and cost.
- Knowledge of secure boot, OTA updates, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Expert-level knowledge and practical experience in RF systems.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and DevOps practices in embedded systems.
- Strong analytical, system-level problem-solving, communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- BE or ME degree in electronics.
- 10 to 15 years of experience.
- ISAQB certification and knowledge of Embedded Linux are preferred.
