Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support custom software solutions across multiple applications and system components.
- Create implementation and integration approaches and translate system requirements into detailed design specifications.
- Develop clean, testable Python applications in a monorepo context using event-driven and distributed-system patterns.
- Design and code applications according to programming standards and interface specifications.
- Provide primary support for installing application releases into production environments.
- Contribute to React and TypeScript applications, including GraphQL/AppSync schema, resolver, and client integrations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Python, Lambda Powertools, pytest, pytest-bdd, and clean, testable Python development.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, and IAM.
- Experience reading, writing, and debugging multi-stack Terraform configurations.
- Strong understanding of fan-out/fan-in, idempotency, and at-least-once-delivery patterns in event-driven and distributed systems.
- Fluent English is required; Czech or Slovak is desirable.
- Bonus experience includes GraphQL, AppSync, React, TypeScript, Vite, Cloudscape, Databricks, CDISC SDTM, ADaM, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and Immuta or equivalent tooling.
Benefits
- The role requires regular onsite presence at the client in Prague three days per week and is not fully remote.
