Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain distributed services that process item and catalog information at large scale.
- Design and build transactional, scalable, high-throughput, fault-tolerant, and highly available software systems.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into software platforms serving multiple businesses.
- Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
