Base Salary
$118k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions, customizations, automations, and integrations.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into secure, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions.
- Own the full solution lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, release management, and production support.
- Support Salesforce enhancements, break/fix issues, maintenance, and complex technical or integration troubleshooting.
- Improve system performance, simplify architecture, reduce technical debt, and strengthen Salesforce platform governance.
- Collaborate with globally distributed engineering, development, operations, administration, business, security, compliance, and sales operations teams.
- Research platform capabilities and engineering approaches, and prototype improvements to the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and administrators.
- Use AI-powered engineering tools responsibly while considering security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Salesforce development and enterprise application engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, Flows, SOQL, APIs, and Salesforce platform customization.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, declarative automation, integration patterns, and scalable solution design.
- Experience with deployment processes, code refactoring, performance optimization, and enterprise integrations using APIs, ETL tools, and automation platforms.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is strongly preferred; JavaScript Developer, Advanced Administrator, Application Architect, or System Architect certifications are advantageous.
- Understanding of AI-powered and agentic development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Agentforce, with the ability to use them for productivity, troubleshooting, documentation, and solution delivery.
