Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack components for the Elektron Real Time Data Distribution System.
- Collaborate with product owners, team leads, architects, development teams, operations support, quality engineering, and business experts to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Develop reliable, robust, high-quality, and secure software while resolving technical problems with minimal supervision.
- Participate in Scrum meetings, retrospectives, reviews, and delivery planning, providing timely status updates.
- Build and use automation and CI/CD pipelines and support containerized and orchestrated services.
- Maintain the team knowledge base with technical information and issue resolutions.
- Share knowledge, improve team effectiveness, and promote an inclusive and open working culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and containerization or orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
- Experience using repositories and multi-person, multi-version software delivery pipelines.
- Experience with Agile software development techniques, including TDD and/or BDD, and Atlassian toolsets.
- Knowledge of automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, attention-to-detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand broader technical impacts, adapt to changing requirements, and work effectively under pressure.
- Degree-level qualification in computing, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Preferred: DevOps experience, Docker and Kubernetes experience, automation knowledge, and high-transactional, low-latency development experience.
