Responsibilities
- Lead development of prototypes demonstrating advanced concepts in autonomy, multi-agent systems, GenAI, analytics, quantum technologies, modeling, simulation, optimization, visualization, human-machine interfaces, heterogeneous computing, and cybersecurity.
- Own the full software development lifecycle for Anduril Labs prototypes, including inception, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Architect, develop, and deploy distributed applications and services with front-end and back-end components.
- Collaborate with Anduril engineering teams, customer engineering teams, and strategic partners.
- Support Anduril- and customer-funded R&D efforts.
- Participate in field experiments and technology demonstrations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of programming experience with Python, C++, Java, Rust, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven software architecture and design skills and the ability to navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- Hands-on AI/ML development using commercial or open-source frameworks, models, and tools, including GenAI-enhanced applications or services.
- Experience with web application development, cloud development, data modeling and wrangling, database technologies, API development and integration, and containerization.
- Knowledge of networking basics and software development on Linux and Windows.
- Hands-on experience using GenAI coding tools for software development, code generation, debugging, and algorithmic exploration.
- Experience with Git, build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and technical explanation skills.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Preferred: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Preferred: experience with distributed applications, high-performance computing, big data technologies, mobile applications, or embedded software development.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 10%.
