Base Salary
$60k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design information architecture, mockups, interactive prototypes, component libraries, accessibility states, and responsive breakpoints in Figma.
- Build pixel-perfect, reusable interfaces with HTML, semantic CSS/SCSS or Tailwind, TypeScript, and React/Next.js or Angular.
- Run usability tests, interpret analytics and heatmaps, and use findings to improve user experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, full-stack/backend engineers, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
- Review pull requests and improve developer-experience tooling such as Storybook, ESLint, and Husky.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience building customer-facing web applications, with a portfolio or live products required.
- Mastery of Figma, including auto-layout, variants, design tokens, and FigJam.
- Production experience with React or Angular, modern TypeScript, and component architectures.
- Strong understanding of HTML semantics, CSS Flexbox/Grid layouts, responsive design, WCAG 2.2 accessibility, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with design systems such as Material, Ant, Radix, or custom systems; animation libraries such as Framer Motion or GSAP; and testing tools such as Jest, Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Comfort working in Agile and CI/CD environments using GitLab CI/CD, Vercel, or AWS.
- Ability to translate business goals into intuitive user flows and interactions, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Bonus qualifications include data-heavy dashboard or B2B SaaS UX experience, Node.js knowledge, and illustration, icon, motion graphics, or brand design skills.
