Responsibilities
- Build new features and develop user interfaces for Restream web services.
- Design and implement UI, interactions, and business logic for new and existing features.
- Partner with product designers to create user-friendly UI/UX.
- Participate in team code reviews and provide and receive feedback.
- Identify emerging technologies and opportunities to improve the engineering environment.
- Contribute to product reliability as Restream scales.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and newer ECMAScript specifications.
- Expertise in React and major state management systems.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS.
- Basic backend skills with Node.js, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with MobX, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous deployment workflows.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and focus on user experience.
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed, analytical, collaborative, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
