Responsibilities
- Own the full development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, technology and UI decisions, implementation, and delivery.
- Build and ship frontend, backend, infrastructure, containerized applications, and production deployments.
- Develop full stack applications using Python, Django, FastAPI, and React.
- Design and build microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Use GitHub branching strategies, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, propose solutions, and create implementation plans.
- Review code, define development standards, and maintain high engineering quality.
- Mentor junior developers and improve the team and platform.
- Design and build AI agents and AI-driven automation for engineering processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial full stack development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, and React.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and shipping containerized applications to production.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing and building microservices and event-driven architecture.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level for daily use.
- Preferred experience deploying applications to AWS, including ECS, ALB, and S3.
- Preferred experience with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Plotly.
- Preferred experience with Strands Agents, Google ADK, LangChain, or AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
- Experience with Abaqus, Ansys, or AMESim is a plus.
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience is preferred.
- Previous Tech Lead or Architect experience is preferred.
- An engineering background is preferred.
