Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end retail shopping experiences for Alexa across retail technology stacks, Alexa services, and conversational interfaces.
- Develop and iterate on generative AI and agentic AI capabilities, including prompt engineering and tuning for customer-facing shopping experiences.
- Own services from design through production while writing maintainable code and contributing to code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, applied scientists, and partner teams to define, build, and ship customer-facing features.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and improve operational health through automation and monitoring.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
