Base Salary
$39k - $76k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain software, firmware components, and computing systems software.
- Support software development, operations and maintenance, and research and development for Air Force command-and-control and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance initiatives.
- Develop and support software integrated with aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, and other engineering systems.
- Apply software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle.
- Support solutions including simulations, avionics, command and control, tactical displays, medical devices, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and technical and support personnel.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with modern software development, including technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and Spring, within a development team using configuration management practices.
- At least 1 year of experience with modern web application development using JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular.
- Experience with build, packaging, and deployment tools including Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Yum, NPM, and RPM.
- Skilled in debugging and runtime practices.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred but not required.
- Previous internship, co-op, or other work experience and demonstrated leadership, teamwork, communication, or extracurricular involvement are preferred.
