Software Engineer III - AEM Developer

- Design, develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Build and enhance AEM Full Stack applications on AEM as a Cloud Service for client-facing digital experiences and content delivery across the trade lifecycle.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while contributing to solution design and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with a 3–4 member engineering team, product and engineering partners, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize needs.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating outputs through review and testing.
- Guide peers on responsible AI use, including secure handling of sensitive data and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Hands-on experience delivering solutions on AEM as a Cloud Service, beyond AEM On-Premises or AMS.
- Understanding of Adobe Experience Manager templates, components, client libraries, widgets, core frameworks, and development and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and secure, resilient software practices.
- Preferred experience with AEMaaCS technical additions, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, AEM Headless capabilities, Content Fragment Models, and GraphQL APIs.
