Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of Azure-hosted environments.
  • Lead operational support and onboarding for new and existing client platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership in SRE practices, tooling, incident response, and reliability improvements.
  • Automate manual processes and build reusable automation pipelines for onboarding and operations.
  • Implement and evolve observability frameworks using SLOs, SLIs, and proactive alerting.
  • Oversee disaster recovery planning, incident postmortems, and root cause analysis.
  • Lead solutions workshops, engage vendors, and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product owners and architects on platform design and future roadmaps.
  • Mentor junior and senior engineers and support technical capability growth.
  • Provide weekend or on-call support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or cloud infrastructure leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise designing and operating production-grade Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and Ansible.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native monitoring and incident management frameworks.
  • Experience leading incident response and platform-wide reliability improvements.
  • Strong foundation in ITIL problem, change, and incident management practices.
  • Broad technical knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, scripting, and SQL.
  • Experience mentoring and leading engineers, influencing architecture decisions, and managing complexity.
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension or financial services platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
