Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software in C for Wi-Fi ICs.
- Write unit and functional tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Debug software and system issues using JTAG, GDB, and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and test teams to integrate software with hardware and protocol stacks.
- Participate in code reviews and improve software development and testing practices.
- Deliver robust, maintainable, production-ready software for connectivity solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong coding skills in C/C++.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and validation in embedded environments.
- Experience applying software development practices including design, coding standards, code reviews, and maintainability.
- Experience with testing practices including unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and continuous integration workflows.
- Experience with artificial intelligence-powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
- Exposure to the Linux kernel, device drivers, or open-source development is preferred.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi or other networking protocol stacks is preferred.
- Experience with RTOS-based environments is preferred.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative development environments is preferred.
