Responsibilities
- Design scalable and reusable Android application architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Develop new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in Kotlin.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests using automated testing strategies.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize Android applications for speed, responsiveness, and resource efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and performance profiling.
- Create technical documentation, API specifications, release notes, and architecture records.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve development processes, coding standards, and software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in Android application development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related Android development tools.
- Experience with Android architecture components such as MVVM, LiveData, and Room.
- Understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON or Proto.
- Familiarity with Git and Jenkins.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform preferred.
