Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to design testing plans for various systems.
- Define suitable test strategies and automation for different types of systems.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.
- Engage in mobile testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Utilize test management tools like Jira and TestRail for tracking.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective test coverage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in QA Engineering with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Java.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright.
- Strong experience with API testing tools.
- Exposure to backend service testing is a plus.
- Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.
- Mobile testing experience on both iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools is desirable.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of test pyramid principles and best practices.
- Practical experience with Jira and TestRail or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self-discipline and adaptability for remote work.
- Ability to independently decide on regression test coverage.
