Responsibilities
- Develop new and legacy embedded software for ABB Excitation projects in C++.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle, including specification, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Develop object-oriented real-time embedded software and troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Identify, propose, and implement innovative solutions while ensuring software includes the latest features.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources, product teams, and software development teams.
- Work within project plans, industry standards, and a distributed software development team.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of professional experience with C/C++ as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of DevOps, Git, and Azure.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Fluent English is required; German language skills are an asset.
- Ability to learn quickly.
