Responsibilities
- Collaborate on user stories, implementation approaches, code reviews, system designs, and software development.
- Design, code, test, document, prototype, and integrate software components and services.
- Create secure solutions with embedded controls and mitigation of security threats.
- Operate and support services, fix faults, perform infrastructure maintenance, and manage service performance targets.
- Represent user needs, collaborate with user researchers, and guide others on tools, methods, and implementation practices.
- Coach and mentor more junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, software design, and architecture.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, or Eclipse.
- Understanding of database management and SQL, with experience using relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and automated testing frameworks and tools.
