Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage source code repositories and enforce version control best practices.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Design and implement reliable, secure release pipelines.
- Coordinate release schedules, dependencies, and communications with development, quality assurance, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Execute and monitor releases, resolve build, test, and deployment issues, and manage rollback procedures.
- Maintain release documentation and enforce policies for hotfixes and emergency releases.
- Track release metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and maintain environment configurations across multiple environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of DevOps, software, or build and release automation engineering experience.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, GitLab, CloudBees, Jenkins, or other leading source code and release management tools.
- Proficiency with CI/CD, feature flags, version control, build management, configuration management, and release automation processes.
- Experience defining release criteria, managing end-to-end releases, and improving release processes.
- Experience deploying and configuring containers, including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as web application servers and databases.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
