Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using modern development practices and Clean Architecture.
- Own technical topics end to end, from requirements clarification and solution design through implementation and production follow-up.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of mobile systems, improving scalability, reliability, maintainability, and production readiness.
- Build performant and accessible UI components with Jetpack Compose.
- Implement asynchronous and reactive logic with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.
- Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to automated testing coverage and technical documentation.
- Review other engineers’ code and technical solutions and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and designers.
- Support production releases and maintain app stability and user experience quality.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and help improve the team’s technical level and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing Android applications, ideally in Kotlin-based environments.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flows.
- Strong proficiency with Jetpack Compose and the modern Android UI toolkit.
- Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, separation of concerns, and common Android design patterns.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Koin and modular project structures.
- Strong experience with Gradle and automated testing, including unit and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to understand and safely modify complex or legacy Android codebases.
- Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and long-term codebase evolvability.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Previous experience with consumer-facing, high-traffic, or business-critical mobile products is preferred.
- Experience with MVVM or MVI, unidirectional data flow, Room, Retrofit, Jetpack libraries, Firebase, app analytics, crash reporting, and production diagnostics is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with agentic models or AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product stakeholders and designers is preferred.
