Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a centralized AI algorithm platform designed for stability and scalability under high concurrency and multi-user access.
Build reusable, modular AI components using machine-learning and generative-AI technologies.
Package AI/ML models as standardized APIs or directly runnable toolkits for use by other systems.
Support banking applications including document processing, recommendation systems, speech intelligence, time-series forecasting, and chatbots.
Develop standardized tools and automation to reduce the maintenance effort required for AI projects.
Follow data confidentiality, database-access, operational, compliance, audit, and training requirements.
Prepare model risk assessment documentation and support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
Communicate with headquarters colleagues and complete assigned work on time and to specification.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
Three to six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience developing AI/ML projects with Python or a strong software engineering/full-stack development background.
Knowledge of Python backend frameworks and frontend technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or Svelte.
Practical experience developing LLM applications, prompt optimization, and retrieval-augmented generation systems.
Proficiency with OpenAI API, Hugging Face, Transformers, and LangChain.
Proficiency with SQL database operations and familiarity with Spark or other big-data processing frameworks.
Banking AI application experience, especially financial risk control and NLP document understanding, is preferred.
Strong communication skills and fluent written and spoken Chinese and English for collaboration with overseas teams.
