Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, secure, robust, and high-performance solutions.
- Ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance and collaborate on larger projects.
- Solve highly complex technical problems and translate business requirements into software designs.
- Review code and designs while driving standards for code quality and testing.
- Drive the team’s technical roadmap and architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and remove blockers to their autonomy.
- Act as technical lead for a pod or team and drive large initiatives.
- Partner with business and technical leadership to improve revenue and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 6+ years of programming experience.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing the duties.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and critical platform components that enable rapid product scaling.
- Preferred experience scaling products from 1 to 100 and working with marketplace platforms.
- Preferred experience with Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS, and GoLang.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify areas of impact, and work independently.
