Responsibilities
- Conduct customer needs assessments and document requirements for new or upgraded applications.
- Translate stakeholder needs into functional and nonfunctional specifications, use cases, traceability documentation, and process flows.
- Guide customers through application modernization and help select, customize, and implement packaged solutions.
- Collaborate with application architects, development staff, project managers, and technical subject matter experts on design and implementation.
- Analyze application, hardware, operating system, data conversion, compatibility, and training considerations.
- Advise customers on technology solutions aligned with business objectives, budgets, timelines, cost, and quality targets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application development and deployment.
- 5+ years of experience in application migration and modernization.
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, middleware, and data.
- Knowledge of BI, database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware and software, operating systems, and networking.
- Strong technical knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: SaaS application implementation experience with platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or Lawson.
- Preferred: experience with application modernization tools such as CAST, DevSecOps processes, and risk quantification, mitigation, and remediation strategies.
