Base Salary

$175k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

Build comprehensive bottom-up test strategies for infrastructure changes and releases.
Develop test automation frameworks, tools, and solutions that make testing faster, more efficient, and more stable.
Use artificial intelligence technologies, including agentic automation, MCPs, and RAG applications, to augment testing activities.
Create test plans covering customer use cases, including functional, compliance, and legal requirements.
Engage from project initiation to identify requirements gaps and design failure modes.
Automate tests according to business value and priority.
Participate in scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical test design, and test gap analysis.
Provide technical assistance diagnosing issues and help identify defect trends and root causes.
Collaborate with quality, product, design, information security, business, and development teams.
Develop concise, articulate, and detailed documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of software engineering experience.
5–10 years of software testing experience.
Experience in fintech, trading, or financial services.
Experience leading quality efforts for internet applications.
Experience with UI, API, or other test automation.
Experience enhancing test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and K6.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Fluency with AI technologies related to testing and validation.
Preferred experience with end-to-end automation, contract testing, API automation, and load and performance testing.
Preferred experience mentoring other quality engineers.
Proven teamwork and delivery record, preferably in high-growth, venture-backed startups.

For residents of the New York, NY area, the annual salary range is $175,000–$205,000 plus an annual bonus.
