Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable enterprise data architecture solutions using Snowflake, Tableau, and AWS.
- Design data models, schemas, mappings, transformations, and metadata aligned with business and analytical requirements.
- Analyze legacy data models and platforms involving SQL Server, Oracle, and stored procedures.
- Design and maintain data integration solutions while ensuring data integrity, consistency, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop semantic models involving dimensions, facts, metrics, and measures for business intelligence and self-service reporting.
- Oversee data solutions from concept through production, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize data pipeline and system performance.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into data architecture and collaborate with data scientists on data requirements.
- Document data architecture, pipelines, and processes and establish data engineering and quality assurance best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data management, data governance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data management.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL, along with strong Python skills.
- Experience with data modeling tools including ER/Studio, Erwin Data Modeler, Lucidchart, MySQL Workbench, and Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler.
- Experience with Big Data technologies and database systems such as Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to translate business requirements into semantic models supporting reporting and analytics with Tableau.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with regulatory compliance such as GDPR or HIPAA.
- Preferred knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data analytics, plus cloud-platform certifications such as AWS.
