Linux SW Engineering Intern
NXP SemiconductorsResponsibilities
- Integrate new i.MX devices into Linux BSPs and support high-quality release deliverables.
- Maintain existing i.MX products within NXP’s Linux software evolution strategy.
- Develop, design, and maintain Linux kernel drivers on i.MX platforms.
- Contribute upstream to the broader Linux community and Linux kernel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
- Knowledge of software development on embedded systems.
- Understanding of embedded firmware development.
- Understanding of Linux kernel development.
- Knowledge of CPU and computer architecture, Linux internals, open-source communities, or Linux kernel contributions is a plus.
