Base Salary
$166k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Propose and prototype innovative solutions to real-world problems.
- Develop and maintain core libraries and runtime applications.
- Integrate classical and geometric methods in computer vision with ML methods.
- Work on space vehicle CV software and hardware subsystems.
- Develop software-defined approaches to autonomous spacecraft operations.
- Create test plans and procedures to validate the CV system.
- Collaborate across teams to build and test complex functionalities.
- Coordinate with end-users to translate needs into features.
- Support schedules during ground testing and on-orbit operations.
- Design flight software, algorithms, and simulation products.
- Develop autonomy tools for dynamic space operations.
- Define automated fault detection and responses.
- Provide hardware-in-the-loop and Monte Carlo simulation capabilities.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
- BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced experience developing and benchmarking ML algorithms.
- High proficiency in C++ development in a Linux environment.
- Experience in object detection, tracking, and segmentation.
- Familiarity with visual odometry, SLAM, and 3D geometry.
- Ability to navigate complex systems and detailed requirements.
- Clear communication and organizational skills.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
