Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of financial and enterprise product features.
- Test new product features within the software development lifecycle.
- Use scripting and programming skills to automate tests.
- Validate product accuracy, performance, functionality, stress handling, resilience, and use cases.
- Work on the EMEA shift from 14:00 to 22:00 IST, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- At least three years of test engineering experience, preferably with enterprise products based on Linux and scripting languages.
- A third-level degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a similar field.
- Comfort with Linux or Unix operating systems.
- Programming skills using Python and Bash or other shell scripting languages.
- Interest in financial markets, electronic trading, software testing, and test methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written English-language skills.
- Functional understanding of cloud environments is desirable.
- Experience with C and/or Java is desirable.
