Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Own and scale production Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, troubleshooting, capacity, and reliability.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.
- Build automation and internal tooling with Python, Bash, and/or Go.
- Lead infrastructure and reliability initiatives from design through production.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems, networking, and production issues.
- Drive observability, incident response, performance optimization, and cost optimization.
- Partner with engineering and security teams on platform architecture and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Deep hands-on Kubernetes and AWS experience.
- Strong Linux, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Proven ownership of large-scale production infrastructure and complex technical initiatives.
- Strong architectural thinking and ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
- Preferred experience with Azure or OCI, Go, ArgoCD or Flux, GitOps, and large-scale multi-region infrastructure.
