Responsibilities
- Design, code, integrate, maintain, and improve software subsystems and modules for embedded Linux targets using C/C++.
- Develop systems based on ARM MPU/MCU multi-core architectures and interact with the Linux kernel and Yocto framework.
- Use Python for automated testing and participate in software development, review, debugging, and peer-review activities.
- Collaborate with technical leads on architecture, platform-based development, product security, and scalable and resilient product design.
- Develop and review libraries and communication drivers, including MQTT, Wi-Fi, Modbus RTU/IP, and BACnet.
- Collaborate with consultants, customers, IT departments, external design houses, and international colleagues to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- A degree or background in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- More than 6 years of experience in similar software engineering roles.
- More than 3 years of experience developing software running on Linux, including deep knowledge of embedded Linux, secure bootloaders, and multi-processor or multi-core systems.
- Experience architecting SCADA/BMS systems.
- Excellent C/C++ programming proficiency and hands-on experience developing, reviewing, and debugging libraries and communication drivers.
- Familiarity with embedded graphical libraries such as LVGL, Qt for embedded, or emWin.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure products.
- Experience working with external design houses and in multicultural environments.
- Excellent written and verbal English; Danish and/or Italian is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
