Responsibilities
- Collaborate on software for 3D reconstruction from images and lidar, scene understanding, and visualization
- Contribute to long-term product and short-term development roadmaps
- Analyze, test, release, and support products to improve quality
- Improve development, integration, and deployment workflows through analysis and problem solving
- Manage bugs found through internal testing and customer reports
- Evaluate data and creative workflows to guide future product development
- Create product examples, blogs, articles, documentation, and tutorials
- Define customer requirements and translate them into product improvements and software designs
- Prepare and present demonstrations, talks, and workshops for international conferences
- Help shape products for a growing community of reality capture users
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience with relevant technology, such as geospatial applications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferably geomatics engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Existing authorization to work in Germany
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to quality and detail and the ability to identify software bugs
- Ability to analyze complex projects involving real-world data and pursue sustainable solutions
- Knowledge of software development using C++, C#, Java, Python, or other languages
- Expertise in efficient spatial data handling and scripting automation
- Familiarity with 3D modeling
- Familiarity with GIS applications and technologies, ideally ArcGIS
