Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver core product functionality for Endor Labs’ application security platform.
  • Develop and optimize backend core services, including API gateways and API servers.
  • Build and maintain scalable distributed systems and dynamic cloud scan environments.
  • Design tools used across engineering teams and support diverse build and tool-chain requirements.
  • Apply observability practices to improve product and platform reliability and availability.
  • Guide architectural decisions and communicate trade-offs across teams.
  • Use AI and automated code-generation tools to accelerate secure, production-grade software delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Proven Golang experience focused on microservices and distributed architecture.
  • Experience with scalable distributed systems, microservices, domain-driven design, load balancing, and horizontal and vertical scaling.
  • Familiarity with build tools and tool chains such as Maven, pip, and npm.
  • Ability to discuss architectural trade-offs and guide teams toward effective solutions.
  • Preferred experience with secure software design, certificate management, OAuth2/OIDC, and secure changes.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda functions, or comparable cloud-native technologies.
  • Preferred knowledge of security, fraud prevention, and anomaly detection.

  • Compensation range of $200,000–$250,000, with potential commission targets, restricted stock units, and/or bonuses depending on the role.
