Responsibilities
- Design and code Java backend applications using test-driven development.
- Maintain code quality through refactoring, testing, and clean-code practices.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from analysis through delivery.
- Deliver valuable business increments in each sprint.
- Translate high-level requirements into comprehensive technical designs.
- Improve the team’s ways of working.
- Support consumers of the team’s software components.
Requirements
- Degree in software engineering, computer science, or telecommunications engineering.
- At least 1+/2+ years of experience with Java/J2EE.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming is advantageous.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology.
- Experience developing RESTful web services.
- Experience with test-driven development and behavior-driven development.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including Oracle.
- Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, iBatis, Maven, Git, Docker, or Jenkins.
- Good level of English and EU work permission.
- Strong enthusiasm and teamwork orientation.
