Responsibilities
- Embed with portfolio manager and strategy teams to understand processes, identify bottlenecks, and build AI agents and workflows.
- Build AI-assisted research and trading tools spanning data ingestion, signal research, and daily-use investment-team tools.
- Contribute desk learnings to the shared AI platform, including data pipelines, agent memory, architecture, intelligence, and interfaces.
- Measure usage and value, improve solutions based on feedback, and present work and design choices to portfolio managers and the AI committee.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, or another quantitative field.
- Strong Python and SQL skills with comfort working with APIs, data pipelines, and production-quality code.
- Hands-on experience building LLM agents, tool-use systems, retrieval or memory features, and evaluations.
- A portfolio or GitHub showing shipped projects is preferred.
- Curiosity about financial markets and investment-team workflows; prior finance knowledge is not required.
- Ability to take open-ended problems from non-technical users to working tools and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
