Responsibilities
- Own technical project components within strategic customer and partner engagements under the direction of an engagement lead.
- Build nTop workflows, design automation, proofs of concept, headless and batch execution, DOE workflows, parameter sweeps, and surrogate-model training data pipelines.
- Write Python tooling and integrations connecting nTop with CAD, FEA/CFD, MDO, customer toolchains, and agentic frameworks.
- Help design end-to-end architectures connecting geometry, simulation, data, compute, and AI agents, and help transition proofs of concept toward production.
- Support technical sales through customer discovery, tailored demonstrations, and proof-of-concept development.
- Lead technical solution reviews, scoping calls, and workflow consultations for customer expansion and value realization.
- Surface risks and blockers early, deliver against defined completion criteria, and provide feedback on effective AI-assisted and agentic development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Computational Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; highly relevant doctoral degrees may substitute for three years of experience.
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- Working knowledge of aerospace design and analysis tools in at least one area spanning parametric CAD, FEA, CFD, conceptual design and MDO, or PLM.
- Experience scripting in Python and building tools or integrations used by other engineers.
- Familiarity with the scientific Python stack, LLM APIs, agent frameworks or tool-calling protocols such as MCP, or at least one ML framework.
- Ability to learn technical software quickly and reason across geometry, simulation, data, and AI toolchains.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders and large groups.
- Demonstrated autonomy and responsibility on time-sensitive, critical projects.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and conferences up to 50%.
- Preferred qualifications include aircraft conceptual or preliminary design, nTop or nTop Automate experience, GPU-accelerated simulation, cloud or HPC orchestration, physics-ML, agentic systems, Solutions or Forward Deployed Engineering experience, AI/ML or computational design contributions, Aerospace & Defense program familiarity, security clearance eligibility, and exposure to GTM/SaaS teams.
