Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update OmniCMS-hosted websites, including content updates and site migrations.
  • Ensure websites meet accessibility, usability, mobile responsiveness, university branding, and web standards.
  • Manage redirects, calendars, integrations, and other site functionality.
  • Support newsletter and email production using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with content creators, IT, marketing, communications, and campus stakeholders on web projects and digital initiatives.
  • Conduct accessibility reviews and support SEO, Google Analytics, UX, and web optimization efforts.
  • Assist with graphics and web-related content and provide guidance on web tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Foundational understanding of website structure, web development concepts, and general design principles.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, design tools, and/or programming languages used in website development and maintenance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience supporting or maintaining websites and working with CMS platforms, including OmniCMS, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, web UX best practices, WCAG 2.x, and Section 508 is preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom, is preferred.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, adaptability, creative problem-solving, and willingness to learn are required.

  • Full-time, benefits-eligible permanent/probationary position with overtime eligibility.
  • Telecommuting is available up to two days per week after a required training period; standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends possible.
