Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide team members while fostering a collaborative engineering environment.
- Develop relationships across teams to guide architectural and technical direction.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications with Node.js, React, Redux, Fastify, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
- Build developer-experience tools and utilities for build automation, code generation, linting, formatting, and testing.
- Collaborate with developers to understand workflow challenges and create productivity solutions.
- Improve development processes, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to infrastructure components using Docker, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Write clean, testable, and documented code; participate in code reviews and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of web development experience, preferably with Node.js, React, Redux, and TypeScript.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript front-end technologies.
- Back-end development experience with Node.js, Fastify, and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with Docker and knowledge of StatsD, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Proficiency with Git and software development workflows, processes, and best practices.
- Preferred experience with localisation and translation systems; Esbuild, SWC, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, Jest, or Cypress; PostgreSQL or MongoDB; AWS, GCP, or Azure; and open-source contributions.
