Base Salary
$120k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and deliver AI-powered solutions ranging from strategic initiatives to rapid field prototypes.
- Lead application and solution design with architects, product owners, and Lines of Business technical leads.
- Own delivery end to end from scoping and design through development, handoff, and knowledge transfer.
- Work with LLMs, agentic workflows, cloud services, and Kubernetes to solve enterprise business problems.
- Engage stakeholders to identify business needs, adjacent challenges, and input for the AI product roadmap.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior engineers without formal management responsibility.
- Analyze and resolve advanced defects and incidents and escalate issues appropriately.
- Present technical concepts, solution designs, and project outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Four additional years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java is welcomed.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services and Kubernetes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience designing and delivering agentic workflows, LLM integrations, or AI-powered automations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate operational problems into technical solutions.
- Preferred experience includes Terraform, MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases, Temporal, prompt engineering, RAG architecture, LLM evaluation, MCP server configurations, and multi-agent frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively, estimate timelines, solve complex problems, mentor engineers, and communicate with executive and business stakeholders.
