Base Salary
$174k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and modern frontend components for Portal.
- Collaborate on system architecture and technical decisions across the stack.
- Write clean, well-tested, and documented code for long-term product growth.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Design, and Operations to deliver customer-focused features.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and technical planning.
- Contribute to a culture of quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Help evolve developer processes including observability, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Take ownership of production stability and performance, troubleshooting complex issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building modern web applications.
- Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
- Expertise with React (or similar frameworks) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Python and/or Golang in production environments.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and RESTful API design.
- Comfortable with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
