Responsibilities
- Build the configuration backend service that manages and delivers configuration to clients.
- Build a telemetry pipeline that ingests usage events, runs a multi-category classifier, aggregates performance, security, and quality patterns, and feeds per-user and executive dashboards.
- Design and ship reliable, observable, and secure services and APIs in Golang and/or Python.
- Own the measurement pipeline and establish patterns for a new greenfield backend function.
- Partner with the ML team, endpoint team, and partner organizations responsible for the dashboard front end.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall industry experience.
- 6+ years of experience building and operating backend services and distributed systems in Golang and/or Python.
- Production experience with services, APIs, and data pipelines or ETL.
- Experience with telemetry, event, or data pipelines and their storage and query systems.
- Expertise with Kubernetes and AWS for deploying, scaling, and operating production services.
- Understanding of REST, HTTPS, and TLS and experience designing and shipping secure APIs.
- Fluency with agentic coding systems and curiosity about agent harnesses such as Claude Code, Pi, and Codex; experience instrumenting one is a bonus.
- Expertise with data structures and algorithms and strong communication skills.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent required; MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
